  • Honored to spend the afternoon with Pierre Seillan tasting through his incredible lineup Vérité 2019 and 2008 La Muse, La Joie and Le Desir. Pierre Seillan has spent over five decades dedicated to crafting world-class wines. With one vision in mind, the late Jess Jackson asked Pierre “Can you make a Merlot as good as Petrus?” Pierre responded, “I can do better!” With that @veritewines was born. With 1998 as the first vintage the El Nino year still managed to pull off perfection. The next vintage 1999 was an incredible year and the reason there is virtually none left to taste. Pierre credits the micro climates of Sonoma County as the reason he’s able to make a world class wines that stand the test of time. Bordeaux blends coming out of Sonoma County with each of the main grapes having its own unique personality. I asked Pierre to sum up the personality of his three main grapes in one word, here’s how he described them: Merlot is shy, Cabernet Sauvignon is Macho, and Cabernet Franc is subtle. What I love about wine is the people behind the bottle, the community it creates, and the stories that are passed on from generation to generation. Pierre’s story is one of family, it’s one of legacy, it’s one of community. His family and the Jackson Family are so closely united as one family that stands the test of time much like their wine. Thank you @jacksonfamilywines for giving me this opportunity. I’m better having been here with you. #healdsburg #sonomacounty
  • Filled with gratitude for the ever amazing @norafeeley for inviting me to her beautiful luncheon at @ferraricarano during @healdsburgwineandfood and introducing me to the faces behind Foley Family Wines 🍇🍷 Where I inadvertently picked an outfit that matched the table settings!💜 (you know me always trying to blend in 😂). Big love and hug to @chefmichaelreed for making my vegetarian multi course meal to perfection. 💯🍃 These are the moments, the moments I live for, and I’m so grateful for every one of them and all of you. 💛
  • I just made a Grape Escape to Northern Sonoma County! 😃 For those of you who were with me since the beginning you may remember that was my tagline for my weekly wine video series covering the region from 2010-2012. 🍇📺 What I love about wine is how it brings people together. At its core wine is about people, it’s about how we come together, it’s about what connects us.🍷 And while I don’t attend events often I’m so grateful @kgreenpr invited me and encouraged me to come to #HWFE23.🥂 A celebration of one of my favorite places on the planet surrounded by my favorite people. 💫 Thank you Sonoma County, I’m better having been here with you.💛

  • New Episode: Wine Oh! TV Lodi! What began as a Facebook Post in January 2022 and an idea to bring my show back with only six episodes in a new half-hour format and zero idea how it could happen after all that had happened 💙 ends with today’s episode. 🍇 Our Lodi episode is source of pride for me because we shot this very “local news style” making each interview happen boots on the ground. We shot Lodi during harvest October 2022 and it brings an end to our new season and a day of joy, pride, and a little sadness. I’ve been so close to these episodes for the past 16 months, putting most of my personal life on hold to see this relaunch through until completion. At the same time while in post production all of 2023, I rebuilt my website, created a new logo, and brought our Wine Oh! TV logo lady to life with animation. I cover wine because it’s deeply rooted in our region, our religion, it’s an agricultural product that comes from the earth, it’s a way of life, it’s a lifestyle, but more importantly it brings people together. A common thread that unites us all is how we come together and we come together around the table, building community by breaking bread, often opening a bottle (whether it be wine, grape juice, beer, spirits), and connecting through culture. This is what I tried to show with my show this season and I’m so grateful to all of you for seeing me through. What feels like an ending I know is only the beginning. Thank you for joining the journey with me! 💛 I’m excited to see what this next year will bring! 🥂
