Winemakers: Angelina Mondavi & Shauna Rosenblum
2013 International Women’s Wine Competition Results: Ladies listen up, here are seven wines you must try! These are the best wines for women because they were rated and reviewed with the feminine mystique in mind. The International Women’s Wine Competition is expertly judged by women for women wine buyers. Studies show eight out of ten ladies are the ones lining up and checking out with wine to take at home. In response to these stats, Vineyard & Winery Management created the International Women’s Wine Competition to provide the female perspective to professional wine buyers and consumers.
The results are in for the 2013 International Women’s Wine Competition. More than 900 wines were entered in the competition so the judges really had their work cut out for them this year. Judges awarded a total of 26 Double Gold medals, 100 Gold medals, 311 Silver medals, 225 Bronze medals, and a total of 37 Best of Class awards.
Wine Oh TV’s Monique Soltani was lucky enough to be one of the International Women’s Wine Competition judges for the third year in a row. In this video, Monique interviews fellow judges and Best of Show winner and Rock Wall Wine Company winemaker, Shauna Rosenblum immediately after she found out she won and Dark Matter Wines winemaker, Angelina Mondavi.
