California Culinary Academy Cook Off
WHAT: Luce’s Culinary Clash, in partnership with the California Culinary Academy, (CCA), continues on Sunday March 4, 2012 with Stephanie Davidovich, the second of five student finalists from the CCA, showcasing her menu at the Michelin-starred restaurant. One of the school’s largest cooking competitions and scholarship efforts to date, Luce’s Culinary Clash invited students to submit a three-course menu with corresponding recipes for the opportunity to cook with Luce’s Chef de Cuisine Daniel Corey, a CCA alum.
Restaurant guests and a panel of judges will rate students’ menus in categories such as creativity, presentation, taste, and compatibility of wine pairings.
Guest judges on March 4, 2012 include: Monique Soltani, Founder and Host of Wine Oh TV, Jan Wahl of KRON, Jay Barmann, editor of Grub Street SF.com, District 6 Representative Jane Kim, Peter Koehler, general manager of the InterContinental San Francisco, and Executive Chef Michael Weller of the CCA.
WHEN: Sunday, March 4, 2012 with seating from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. The series will continue on each Sunday in March, through March 25.
