A16 Secrets to Prepping Pizza Pie & Wine to Perfection

In honor of Oakland Restaurant week we wanted to share this video shot by MySourceTV at A16 Rockridge. The Italian food and wine experts there show us how to make pizza and pair wine like a pro!

In this video, Wine Oh TV’s Monique Soltani goes in the kitchen at A16 Rockridge with Chef Rocky Maselli who gives us the goods on how to make a pizza pie to perfection. After that she pulls up a seat with Star Somm Shelley Lindgren who picks out two unlikely wines that pair perfectly with pizza.

Located in the dynamic Rockridge district, A16 gets its name from the highway that runs from Naples in Campania to Canosa in Puglia.  A16’s ingredients are inspired by Italy’s soulful south. At A16 Rockridge they explore the seafood-rich culture of the Eastern side of the highway.

Oakland Restaurant Week runs from now until January 25th. Participating restaurants will offer special prix-fixe lunch and/or dinner menus at $20, $30 and $40 price points.
