Mother’s Day Wine (VIDEO)

Women in Wine

Looking for a great Mother’s Day gift idea for the wine loving mother in your life?  Then we suggest you make it a wine weekend.  With Mother’s Day just a few days away we decided to raise our glass and open our hearts to the many moms that make the wine world go round.

In this video, Wine Oh TV’s Monique Soltani makes a Grape Escape to the Wine Road less traveled and introduces us to two very worthy women winemakers and toasts the moms who motivated them to make it happen!

Kachina Vineyards

4551 Dry Creek Road, Healdsburg CA 95448

You’re invited to come visit Katchina’s 100% green and solar-powered winery!  Nestled between Old Heritage Oaks, Manzanita, and vista vineyard views, you’re invited to escape to their diamond in the rough.  Appointments are private and a personal one-on-one experience with just you and your guests at the winery.  You can sit outside on the patio, sipping wine and taking in breathtaking views surrounded by a peaceful and tranquil setting.  Tastings are complimentary.  However, for $10 per person they will pair a small bite with each of their wines.  And if you would like to stay awhile, you can request the lavish Tuscan Lunch for $30 per person which offers a nice spread of local fare  (24hr. notice required).

Wine & Spirits Magazine gave Kachina Vineyards Charbono 90 points!

“This quirky red has the meaty savor of roast fennel sausages, adding spice to its cool blueberry-scented fruit. Tannins hold it tight, adding earth tones to the finish.”
