All Aboard: Wine Tasting On Track
The past is present in Napa as the nation’s only active, historic passenger railroad is moving full speed ahead. In this video, Wine Oh TV’s Monique Soltani shows us riding the rails in the Napa Valley is more than just a tourist attraction it’s a gourmet food and wine affair.
The afternoon was filled with wine from Judd’s Hill Winery, paired with Napa Valley Wine Train Executive Chef Kelly Macdonald’s delicious dishes. Judd Finkelstein family’s 30 year legacy in the Napa Valley started in the 1970’s when they created Whitehall Lane Winery.
The Wine Train Fun Facts:
- One of the Nation’s only Active, Historic Passenger Railroads.
- Voted the “Best Place to Take Visitors.”
- The train itself has two engines, three kitchens on board, and a collection of early 20th century rail cars that are pure Americana.
