Pied Piper Bar & Grill Blind Tasting
The Pied Piper Bar & Grill sheds light on a fun way to test your senses and win big, – and it’s all happening in the DARK! On Saturday, March 31st from 8:30PM to 9:30PM the famous bar will honor Earth Hour by shutting off the lights. Guests will be invited to participate in a blind tasting of sashimi and wine for a chance to win dining experiences in Kyo-ya Sushi and Sake Bar.
In a darkened room, blindfolded participants will work in teams of two. One will taste and smell three types of sashimi and the other, three red wines. If the palettes are performing to perfection, and both participants identify the items correctly, they win a $50 gift card to Kyo-ya Sushi and Sake Bar. If only one of the team members answers correctly, they will receive a $25 gift card to Kyo-ya. It’s only $10 per challenge and proceeds benefit WWF – World Wildlife Fund, an organization whose mission is to conserve nature and reduce the most pressing threats to the diversity of life on Earth
The Pied Piper Bar & Grill is located in the Palace Hotel at 2 New Montgomery Street in San Francisco.
