Getting to the Bottom of the Bubbly

Deciding which sparkling wine to celebrate the holiday season with can be enough to make you cringe. We are helping you pop the top on the cream of the crop and showing you some sparkling wines and Champagnes that are simply the toast of the town. In this video, Wine Oh TV’s Monique Soltani gives us a taste San Francisco’s Top of the Mark.

InterContinental Mark Hopkins was built on the site of the old Mark Hopkins mansion, which burnt down after the San Francisco earthquake of 1906. During World War II, when San Francisco was a major transit point for troops going to the Pacific Theater, US Navy officers traditionally had a farewell drink before shipping out while watching the sun set over the Golden Gate Bridge.
