Tres Sabores Winery: Wine Dinner and Dance
Tanya Bello’s Project. B. Contemporary Dance Company returns to Tres Sabores Winery with “Sitelines”, a series of performances exploring movement and migration of light, locales, and elevation. Set against the dramatic and natural landscape of Napa Valley, and a special lighting installation by designer Kevin Connaughton*, a delectable farm to table meal will be prepared by acclaimed Executive Chef Sean Baker of Gather restaurant in Berkeley. A multi-course dinner featuring organic ingredients sourced from the winery’s own organic gardens, will be served alongside an exclusive pouring of wines from the Tres Sabores cellars.
Guests will gather at the table set amid the vines for dinner, prepared by GATHER Chef extraordinaire, Sean Baker. Wines from Tres Sabores Winery will accompany his farm fresh cuisine sourced from Tres Sabores and neighboring ranches. Then, the party continues in the ancient olive grove at the very edge of the vineyard where Tanya Bello’s project.b. dance company will premiere her new work: Site Lines. You will stroll along, viewing the dancers as they perform various movements in the bench land vineyard, amid the hillside vines, underneath the heritage oak, and on the crush pad. If you have never witnessed the special glow of sunset from the western Rutherford bench you are in for that delight but more, as Lighting Designer and the San Francisco Ballet’s Lighting supervisor, Kevin Connaughton, brings his own special vision to the farm, illuminating the dancers’ movements.
