Napa Valley’s Vine Cliff Winery Makes Modern Moves
Since 1871, Vine Cliff Winery has been a staple in the Napa Valley. This small, family-owned winery has been in the good hands of Nell Sweeney and her family since 1985. As Proprietress, Nell has been the vision and the driving force behind the winery’s development working closely with her son Rob Sweeney. Vine Cliff ‘s Winemaker Jim Kress and Rob Sweeney work together to handcraft each bottle of wine from grape to glass. Their goal is to create premium Napa Valley wines that capture the essence and magic of the region.

Vine Cliff Winery is rich in tradition but the family isn’t afraid to make modern moves. This is evident in their recently opened tasting room in St. Helena. Nell worked with the designer to create a classic yet contemporary space. The new location features a large tasting room with lots of seating options. There are two rooms perfect for private meetings, tastings or dining. Each fully equipped for audio visual. The gardens are beautiful and allow space for intimate gatherings. With a full kitchen, the tasting room is available for private events like weddings, birthday celebrations, corporate team building and executive retreats.
