In 1969, Norman and Rosa Lee deLeuze founded ZD Wines, 50 years later the family run winery is still going strong.
Much loved by locals and probably most well-known for its Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Fun Fact: ZD Wines was the first to put the word “Carneros” on a bottle of Pinot Noir.
The family is rooted in California wine country and has always been dedicated to making world class wines from certified organic vineyards and giving back to the community it calls home.
In this episode of Wine Oh TV, Monique Soltani heads to ZD Wines in Rutherford, we get a look back at the deLeuze family’s legacy, taste Cabernet grapes straight from the vine, savor the 2016 Carneros Pinot Noir, and say cheers to 50 years with the family’s first-ever sparkling wine!
