A Running List of Wineries Shipping Wine Now + Great Deals & Virtual Tastings!

wine list These Wineries Will Ship You Wine Right Now + Great Deals & Virtual Tastings! We are locked in the house, we are working from home, while watching our kids (in my case 4 year old twins), we NEED wine, and we need it NOW!

There are great deals on wine right now. Here’s a list of wineries that will send you wine directly to your house and some of it is ON SALE!

Some wineries are offering discounts, virtual tastings, and some wineries are family businesses just trying to stay afloat. The more we can support them, the more we all win.

I know this is not a complete wine list and I will be updating this wine list as regularly as I can,  but I wanted to get it out ASAP! Because, what the world needs now is love, sweet love, and wine (but not sweet wine), wine. 😉

Aly and Niki are teaming up to connect with the Wente community to talk about wine (of course) and walk you through some fun food and wine pairings. They will also share what it’s like to be a part of the longest continuously family-owned and operated winery in the United States, giving you a peek into their lives. Each Wednesday will have a new topic and sometimes feature special guests, including Wente family members, other Wente team members, and people in our community. Make Time to connect with two of the women behind the Wente Vineyards brand in a fun and engaging Wednesday evening. Conducted via Instagram and Facebook LIVE.

Petaluma Gap Winegrowers Alliance

Anderson Valley Winegrowers Association is sponsoring an online masterclass to promote the education and understanding of the appellation. Moderated by Anderson Valley-based sommelier Corrina Strauss (former beverage director for Michelin one-starred restaurant Harbor House Inn), the complimentary class will also feature Allan Green (Anderson Valley pioneer who helped create the appellation), Thom Elkjer (Anderson Valley-based wine writer) and Evan Hufford (opening wine director of SingleThread). The seminar will focus on the history, terroir and wines of the region and will take place via Zoom on May 2nd.

“This isn’t an easy time for anyone, but Anderson Valley is a strong community. Hopefully we’ll come out of this even stronger and use the lessons we are learning to connect with the wine community at large for years to come. But we can’t wait to see new and familiar faces again in the Valley soon,” exclaims Courtney DeGraff, executive director for the Anderson Valley Winegrowers Association.

In the meantime, the producers of Anderson Valley have recorded a special community video so everyone can enjoy #AVatHome. To view the video, as well as see a full list of online experiences, winery promotions and the masterclass sign-up please visit https://www.avwines.com/visit-from-your-home.
